Had a blast at fashion week and saw some really great shows and trends. Strong collars and metallic fabrics are certainly coming in next season. . A-COLD-WALL showed off some great metallic pieces. This great new street wear and urban chic brand debuted with a small but statement piece collection. A mixture of gender free pieces. With a show stopping finale. The show was set in a cool warehouse which represented the brand perfectly. PHOEBE ENGLISH Phoebe English is one of my favourite designers to see at fashion week. She always brings something cool, edgy and wearable to the table. This year mens collection presentation she put the boys to work displaying them doing chores around the house as it were... and with natural and military coloured tones. Wide leg trousers and relaxed jackets also featured in the collection. BARBOUR taking much inspiration from the classic archives barbour brought a strong leather collection to Mens Fashion Week. MCCVII _ Twelve o Eight You can not have fashion week without some great kicks and Will.I.am MCCVII brand presentation did not let us down. A mixture of great colours and detailing. Everything from fringe, suede and crocodile skin and studded pumps. .CASELEY HAYFORD lONDON This was a collection certainly not to be missed. Featuring a diverse mixture of woolen fabrics with encrusted and embelished detail. Puffer jackets, relaxed checked blazers were all shown. One piece that stood out for me was the frindged embelished suit. It was the perfect show stopper for the winter season. CHESTER BARRIE Coming from a tailoring background I had to make sure I went to Chester Barrie of course. I have always love to see pieces for the party season and christmas. The tuxedo jackets were especially excpetional this season. Featuring checked tuxedo jackets with classic shawl lapels. and double breasted velvet. It was fine luxury at it;s best. EDWARD CRUTCHLEY The Crutchley had a oriental inspired theme. The fabrics used were speciall selected and the theme flowed seamlessly throughout the collection, Velets mixed with embroidered silks with a street edge ran through the collection. KTZ KTZ the king of street wear broke the mould in this collection. skeleton inspired stitching created the perfect collection. Featuring long line hoodies, kilts cow hoods and corsets and laced skinny trousers. All statment pieces which will wow any cool kid on the streets of shorditch at a moments glace. I have admired the fact the mould is always broken with KTZ and they continue to excited me in every collection. WAN HUNG Wan Hung shined bright this mens fashion week. A great presentation and one not to be missed. Everything that glittered and shone through. Embellished and sequined pieces were mixed with great leathers and stitched embroiled jackets. The strong prints that were rant through the collection defined the essence of what Wan Hung does...... creates a statement that will last through the ages that is wearable and edgy. XIMON LEE
