DANIELLE ROMERIL The Danielle Romeril presentation was a fashion jungle in the heart of London. A highlight for the presentations on the Sunday. Garments included fringed and ruffled flared trousers, a abstract jungle print trench and a jungle tartan dress. The use and variation of prints within the collection was very interesting. Soft colours were used - black, white, pastel pink and mint green. The shoes within the collection stood out to me also. Slingback crocs with fringe detail complemented the clothes well, blending in but still holding a strong place on their own. NIRO WANG YII YII SS16 collection had a youthful and playful feel to it. Tops and dresses were cut to straight, boxy silhouettes, collaging original graphic inserts were used too. Loose fitted silhouettes are also used for ease of comfort combining clean and minimal lines. The prints were playful and full of imagination. One of the highlights for me was the use of texture with crocheted spots mixed with mesh used within the knitwear. The main backdrop colour was white throughout the collection, but the bold assents of colour made the collection stand out. VINTI ANDREWS CLEO PEPPIATI Peppiatt's collection was a bold and fun experience and brightened my mood and day when entering the presentation space. The collection featured hand drawn prints, intricate beading and embroidery and a mixture of materials and textures. The collection was fun tongue and cheek promoting the idea of a strong modern day digital girl who is prepared for what ever the world and the future throws at her. The prints were fun, cute and bold. As eccentric as the items were, you would wear every piece from the collection... and as "crazy" as some may say it was........ it just worked! The SS16 collection coming in the not so distant future for you digital girls out there. The styling was superb by Pheobe Arnold and the fun set pieces were created by Amy Exton. CROSSOVER EAST X ADORN LONDON PARTYI missed a few of the early evening shows and started to pop into the party circuit early. The 1st stop for the evening was the Adorn jewellery party. Which featured jewellery designers such as Ejing Zhang , Hefang and A'Lepoque and featured clothing from AnnaKiki. Running to and frow from the front row of fashion week there was only one drink that I was drinking running the cobbles during fashion week..... Lovo. Lovo is the perfect blend of Thai coconut water and vodka. It was so refreshing and surprisingly good for you using less the 1% fruit sugar. It's a perfect cocktail for all of us who likes a drink every now and then but are trying to stay trim. AOFM 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY at Libertine. I then ran over to support my friends at AOFM Make up at the AOFM 10th London Fashion Week Anniversary Party. After a quick stop on the press line doing some interviews and taking pictures for paps, admirers and fans we ran into the party to be served drinks complementary of Russian Standard Vodka and we dined on the finest canapes by Canapes Direct. The best part of about the party was when you face got sweaty (which it did thanks to the fabulous DJ) there was a make up artist on stand by at all times waiting to give you a bit of a "touch up". Well I took up the offer and got touched up ready for the last party I was heading on to in the early hours of the morning.

I intend to review each collection individually, so before I do here is a quick summery of my adventures of me running around at London fashion week. so I have had such a busy few days. My schedule has been crazy and I've been running over the cobbles of London's street for London Fashion Week. My week started with a show at the main space. I was delighted to be invited to see the J. JS LEE show at the show space at the new main venue - Brewer Street Car Park. A lot of people have been skeptical about the new space and its had a little bit of controversy over the week, but nothing wrong with that if you ask me, I was also interviewed by the fabulous Naomi Isted about the collection. After a quick spot of lunch and a lot of rain, everyone ran inside for the much anticipated BORA AKSU Show. I was lucky to be out the rain and in the front row. The show was fantastic and everyone's eyes were gleaming at what they were seeing, Lace was used in a elegant and creative modern way. Sharp and bold colours were also used. After the Bora show. I ran over to the Elms Painting Rooms, which was was main space for some of the off schedule presentations. The Presentations were a lot more fun and more of a spectacle then what I had expected. The presentations featured great set designs, themes and styling which complemented the fashions perfectly . The first presentations for fashion I saw was the fabulous EDERLINE LEE and the entertaining VIELMA LONDON. After viewing afternoon presentations. I ran across the Vinyl Factory Soho where ON/OFF has made their return. I went to see the MANUEL FACCHINI Show. Which featured some stunning dresses and pieces which were perfectly wearable and easy to mix. One of the last catwalks shows I went to see was the highly acclaimed fashion scout ONES TO WATCH S/S16 show. Everyone who was anyone was trying to get in to see next season biggest and up and coming talent. It featured designs such as ANITA HIRLEKAR, JS SHIN, LEAF XIA and TYPICAL FREAKS. I had completely forgotten about eating so I went to dinner with a friend and then we attended one of the most wild parties I've been to in a while. We went to the ON/OFF PRESENTS show and party. which featured many designers including SYED NISAR, ROBERT WUN, MARKETA MARTISKOVA and COMIMHE MAC NEICE. The show itself was fabulous with some amazing talent being shown. But the party was crazy wild. It was completely filled with the London street fashion and urban art scene. Filled with artists, performers, body builders, gogo boys and performance artists. People including Cesare Polini, Benjamin Milan and Atonio Gigliotta where all in attendance to the event. I did not know I would have seen so much nudity or "vougeing" for that matter at a after party. But I'm not too much of a prude. It was a bunch of fun and a perfect way to end the first day
So let's continue to look at some of the top trends from the runway for this summer. As I said before, I know we are currently all cosy and snuggled up in doors at the mo as it's cold outside. So why not bring a bit of colour into our cold and grey days and lives and check out the bright, bold and sunny looks for this coming Spring Summer 2015? There is enough here to brighten up any day. STRIPES STRIPES STRIPES Everything is looking down! ....or is that up for that matter. Who knows, but all focus is on stripes. This trend is not so much nautical, but more bold and lavish. Stripes are the best way to catch attention this coming season and they are being used in a way like never before. There has been a large variety within the different collections. Stripes have been mixed and integrated well into other parts of garments or been combined cleverly. The idea of varied lines in different fabrics within different parts has featured in some pieces within the collections. Above all..... the stripes and lines are all merged with something else in a creative and exciting way. So, what do you need to look out for in order to achieve this seasons new trend? ELEGANT PATTERNS THAT FEATURE STRIPES: Think of gowns that feature a mermaid tail with bold stripes at the bottom. Look out for lace that features horizontal stripes as well. STRIPES FEATURING MIXED FABRICS: Look out for stripes that have been put together using a mix of fabric instead of a mix of colours. For example the Mui Mui skirt below. STRIPES IN ALL DIRECTIONS: Stripes combined together both horizontally and vertically in one outfit brings a fresh idea to the concept and trend. Check out the Louis Vuitton dress below. MIX STRIPES WITH OTHER PATTERNS: Colour blocking is out and pattern blocking is in! Think mix & match. Look for items that feature both stripes and other patterns. For example the Louis Vuitton jumper dress below.
LEATHER SHINES THROUGH! Considering it's the summer collection, a little bit of Autumn fabrics creeping in is not so much of a bad thing I guess. I mean, hey, that's what mixing and matching is for. Leather is featured in a few of the spring summer collections and even has whole leather coats. But as we know, there is such thing as light weight leather or even a good leather effect. A lot of the leather featured could be worn easily as leather effect. Mainly skirts were featured this year. There were some designers who stood out and set the bar for this trend, this includes the amazing Mui Mui , Alexander McQueen and Givency. How to achieve this trend and what to look out for Leather Coats: Look out for a light weight leather jacket, sleeveless jacket or Gilet for extra air. BREATHABLE LEATHERS: Try find garments that are light and airy. Alot of the leather skirts have higher slits then usual this summer. For example the skirts featured in the Nina Ricci collection. LEATHER AS AN ACCESSORY: You can still use the leather trend in a minimal way. Maybe add a interesting belt to your outfit or find something that has leather straps or cuffs but not complete leather. Look at some of the items in the Alexander McQueen Collection below for ideas.

But this season they are more abstract and used in a more modern way. Alot of light layering is going on to create a bohemian silhouette this coming season. Light fabrics of course, create great easy to wear outfits that can be mixed well with a sweater or a crop top or even a cool vintage autumn jacket for those spring days where it gets a little chilly! The key designers displaying this trend definitely have to be Dries Von Noton and Valentino. Both used light and artistic early 20th century prints and shapes. Classic style dresses are used. key Dorelia looks are used and even some cross gender looks feature in the collection. Mostly consisting of easy to wear jackets match with a short girly dress or skirt. One huge trend is the thrown together look. Mix match with a sense of thought. Lace and leather was one prime example seen on the runway in shows such as Alexander McQueen and Givenchy. Mixing stripes, Short girly dresses with large details or prints really create the perfect Busker trend aswell. How to create a Busker look that will make anyone scream for an encore....
I have just arrived back from my wonderful trip to Paris Fashion Week! The spring/Summer 2015 Ready To Wear Womenswear collections were very exciting. The trip did not did not come without its hurdles. My flights was cancelled and I had to go to get a coach the whole way there straight after a wedding I attended. The wedding was amazing and my friends dress was nothing but couture to its finest. I had seen some amazing shows including The Allude Show, Junko Shimada and the fabulous Rahul Mishra. I also caught a glimpse of the action at the Elie Saab show, Valentino and the Mui Mui show aswell which was very exciting. I do love the Parisian style, it has such a elegance to it with such a relaxed style. The street style is just that ..... STYLE. I loved how effortless the Parisian style was whether it be a trouser just turned up simply with a good scarf or a relaxed causal blazer. The Paris style is definitely timeless. The women have quite a hip city bohemian style with good tailored pieces. I did not get as much shots of the more city street style, but I have certainly been inspired for some new designs which is really good. I did see this gent here who was casually hanging out at the betting shop. Just pure style. I love his coordination with the rustic metal elements and embellishment on his jeans to match is rust orange bow tie and brown shows. Who are You Wearing? I had a few good pieces and some vintage pieces to bring with me on my trip. Above
My Outfit For Day 2 and the outfit worn to Junko Shimada
